A thought struck me as I drove my kids home from gymnastics singing Let It Go at the top of my lungs:

This is exactly the kind of moment that a past version of me would have envisions a future version of me experiencing. Not in a déjà vu kind of way, just in an intentional life kind of way.

And then I went on with my day.

Having this kind of thought is just one of several tools I'm using to try to be more mindful about living a full, abundant life. Meditating on what's going right. Taking time to be grateful. But also taking stock of where things are going, where I want them to go, and adjusting as necessary.

In short, in the midst of everything else, remember to be happy.
